puzzle, ski mask, pillow set
I was responsible for creating various assets and small pieces of environment throughout production as an outsourcer.

I was given a lot of ownership over the central dial of a puzzle room. I was given a concept with instructions for how the puzzle would operate. This changed during production and required flexibility. This was a large piece that the user could get very close to, so I tackled this using tiling and trim textures only. This let me achieve high fidelity textures on a large hero piece the player was meant to walk all over and inspect for clues. I created all the textures through a combination of Zbrush and Substance Designer. The asset also had a lot of moving parts that needed to behave in a precise way for the puzzle to work. Grime and damage decals were added on later by the Naughty Dog team.
The ski mask was created through a combination of Marvelous Designer, Zbrush, and Maya.
Pillows were created for an end game cinematic, needing to be high quality but still within real time budget. I was given very specific themes and examples of pillows they wanted but had to take those designs and create original pillow designs to avoid legal issues. I used a mix of Zbrush and Marvelous Designer for high poly models, and Substance Designer for texturing.
